Launch of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe at Mondrian Singapore Duxton.
BMW launched the second generation Gran Coupe at the Mondrian Singapore Duxton hotel, showcasing the new-for Singapore market 2 Series for this body style.
The 2 Series is actually a range of subcompact vehicles that comprise of a few body styles with various trims available. For petrolheads, the 2 Series is most commonly known for the M2 performance 2-door.
This F74 model code replaces the first-generation Gran Coupe that was produced from 2020 to 2024. Showcased here is the 216 M Sport trim, powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine (B38), making 121 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. That power goes to the front wheels via a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT).
Also available alongside the 216 trim is the M235 xDrive, with a power output of 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.
Prices for the Gran Coupe start at S$233,888 inclusive of COE (At time of publishing).
