Good day! I've returned to covering another event, this time a display than a car meet.
Last week I opted to visit SGRetroCar's classic car display at the SiGlap 60 Carnival event, a carnival event that among many carnival-themed performances and events, features a display of 1980's and older classic cars volunteered by SGRetroCar's members!
Without too much commentary on my part, here is a collage of the photos I took of these beautifully kept classics!
Very, very much liking the almost candy-like red on this Austin Healey Sprite!

Multicolor! Love how this looks. |
Uniquely-colored Datsun 240Z, why can't more cars be in this shade?
Super, super pretty Ferrari 308 GTB! A less conventional color of yellow instead of the common red on Ferrari's, I've been charmed. This and the 240Z are to me some of the more jaw-dropping cars in the showcase.
Commence the rather unexpected rainfall. Had me worried considering my soft-top probably may not survive the weather; I neglected putting a cover because I didn't think it'd rain :(
Initially the weather improved but returned to being incredibly heavy, I'm glad the cars more prone to leaking were kept under shelter, but some of them like the Austin Healey Sprite was lightly wet. Just hoping the cars were given a proper wipe down afterwards!
And what was left of my car... Well, to its credit, little Elanmi hasn't rusted away into a pile of brown dust, but it certainly wasn't able to fully keep out the weather from the interior..
But wow! Happy to have seen the cars that day, certainly well worth stopping by to ogle at some very nicely done-up classic cars. Hearing that there will be a classic car meet at Dempsey Hill on May 1st, I'll set my calendar accordingly to look. For now, its time for me to conclude. In the meantime, do have a read from my fellow writer on what they saw in a fictious world in Roblox: ROBLOX: Rare and interesting motors! For now, see you again in the next entry!
