About this website

This blog is dedicated to our sharings about general car enthusiast life in Singapore and others, a bit of a personal memorial of our youth and what we've done, seen, experienced, enjoyed. Sadly due to how things are run here, not all cars can live a full life as they would be intended. As such, we will try to document whatever we can and archive photos of what will one day become forgottens of the past. Life is a finite experience.

Feriko: Part hauls

Huge parts haul compiled from several months of preparation and shipping..

Finally being back in Penang, I collect a lot of the parcels that have shipped over or are being delivered. There is some wear & tear items, but its generally all cosmetic.

Yeah, I'm well aware of the glaring issues that the car has that I am not addressing by doing other things that only contribute to the looks of the car 👀

A pretty rare piece that is a OEM muffler was taken from a hatchback owned by a friend. Finding the OEM muffler is impossible to find now.

As for hoses, its a fully different story - where I had to wait for months and pay standard premiums to get Samco to make a new set for my Lotus, these "Samco" hoses can be bought as replicas at much under 1/10th the price.

I wasn't keen on the spark plug cover and went looking online, and found this available on Shopee.

The company that I bought my bluetag from also had epoxy trunk badges for the Ferio. They cost more than other badges, but look more accurate and for once, aren't using the EK Ferio badge.

Air filter that can be bought new or has been reproduced. They cost less than 10 dollars, both SGD and MYR. Quality wise is hard to say.

Star of the show are these that didn't come from local e-commerce. These "swirl" Honda Civic hudcaps were a bucket list item that wasn't on my list until I noticed the price and how "cheap" they were. Hint: they're not cheap!

For the price of a set of identical 4x100 15" replica wheels, you can buy a set of well-used Honda hudcaps! The Honda market is ridiculous now with these prices, and I did get this for a much lower price compared to the amounts that some resellers try to sell them for.

Sadly it isn't in the best nick, with present cracks and usual scrapes. Pictured below is the biggest crack of all four pieces, but the condition isn't necessarily disintegrated, so its good enough.

These are a bi-product of the crap I also bought. Lots more to compliment my Civic collection and others, but some are reserved for friends.

This. This is mental illness, probably. And this isn't the full collection. There are a few more Civic hatchback brochures, plus Honda Access ones and a few more special edition pieces that cost too much for their own right. I'll probably collect them eventually. Yikes

The rest were as such - new number plate, printed stickers and a Honda Access domelight. I'll have these installed soon, but the domelight - probably not soon. I'm not sure overall how it'll fit and what needs to be done for it to work.
