About this website

This blog is dedicated to our sharings about general car enthusiast life in Singapore and others, a bit of a personal memorial of our youth and what we've done, seen, experienced, enjoyed. Sadly due to how things are run here, not all cars can live a full life as they would be intended. As such, we will try to document whatever we can and archive photos of what will one day become forgottens of the past. Life is a finite experience.

Fuel for Thought: NEXTLAYR carplate keychain

Matching license plate keychain with Feriko's plate number.

Full disclosure is that I bought this on my own.

I had a friend @spottedbyseanan buy me one of these for Elanmi preivously, and I wasn't able to install it for that car as the keys themselves were already intruding on my legroom. But with the Honda, I know I have enough, and so I'm giving it a try with this.

Included is a nicely packaged box, the customized keychain and a discount coupon. I feel it isn't too long like some other keychains, and it hangs nicely with the key in the ignition. Again, there could be complications especially with the single-row plate keychains like I experienced in my Lotus, but the keys themselves already intrude with my leg, so I cannot say its caused by the keychain itself.

All in all, I think its decent in quality with not really any considerable shortcomings. For the price at S$9.90 (at time of purchase) and a flat rate for shipping of S$1.50 (total $11.40), I think its quite value-for-money, especially for a customized item. Its definitely not Shopee levels of pricing but those hardly allow you to customize the product itself, so this is great.
