About this website

This blog is dedicated to our sharings about general car enthusiast life in Singapore and others, a bit of a personal memorial of our youth and what we've done, seen, experienced, enjoyed. Sadly due to how things are run here, not all cars can live a full life as they would be intended. As such, we will try to document whatever we can and archive photos of what will one day become forgottens of the past. Life is a finite experience.

Feriko: K&N air filter got!

Airbox-compatible air filter at a much more affordable price.

As a quick update on received items for Feriko, that Civic SiR, I am unable to get those aftermarket pod filters or air filters since I am running the original airbox. Don't worry, I did replace the original filter with a new one. But, since I want that extra one horsepower, it was in my best interests (and recommendations by family and friends) to find a K&N filter.

It took a while - I wasn't expecting them to be as expensive as they are. Shopee lists these filters for about 130-140SGD, and Japanese websites list them for 100SGD, not including shipping.

Though, it seems that Amazon has these at a significantly lower cost compared to tthe other websites, which is why this is now sitting in my house.

Amazon, combined with some other coupons, allowed me to purchase this at 70SGD with free shipping. I believe they still have this pricing on their website, so if you happen to be in a similar situation as me where you randomly are using a stock airbox and want some extra go in your Civic, look over there.

Apparently it went a dollar cheaper.
