MotorGala: CL7SG Mega Meet 8.0

Possibly the last large-scale meet for the Honda Accord Euro R CL7 in Singapore. Its a good one.

Surely there's time to still be with them..

With chatter that some owners are (inevitably and understandably) not looking to renew their pride and joy, 2025 may be the last year for this amount of Euro R to meet up together. Renewal periods for these cars are now, if not most commonly next year and the year after. With sky-high premiums stagnating at S$110,000, not all enthusiasts have the necessary means to renew their cars, and will be scrapping them.

Although these meets should always end on a happy note (unless there's a fight or brewing drama), I cannot help but shake off a wave of sadness that this will, again, be the final year to see such a large gathering for this popular platform before many go under the knife. First it will be the Euro R, and next will be the Type R. Please spot these cars and everything else before they go.

These cars will wait 'till the end of time for you, but time won't wait for these cars.

It would seem to be that I may have been fixated on some specific cars and so my gallery isn't all equal. I do apologize for that, and also that I came only at 3:00PM and wasn't at an amount of time to have properly photographed all cars present.

That being said, I do appreciate the hospitality that those who approached me had given, and for the friends I've finally got the chance to meet after only speaking to one another on Instagram 😂

This does honestly feel like a bit of a final hurrah even though it isn't. The last for such a big assortment of CL7 though? That could be the final hurrah in question. In any case, I hope these photos (and the ones from my fellow photographers) will serve as good memorabillia for owners renewing and not renewing these old girls. These photos are all downloadable and you can tag me in respective posts if necessary and what not.
