Still celebrating the birthday of the same fictional character, but also looking back on the year.
Certainly did I not see where things would tangent to when I wrote that article from last year.
2025 was a big unknown, I mean, frankly in no circumstance was I expecting to find myself in the role I am currently in now. I didn't really expect this blog to be boosted in viewership in the last few months, my current occupation, my Honda Civic and I most certainly didn't expect a new alternate variant for Hasumi to be released.
I can tell you that the RoadNotes article right before this entry was actually planned and thought about all the way in July, about a week or two after my own birthday when her alternate variant was shown. You couldn't make up the timing.
Anyways, I certainly quite liked this fictional character that even now am I still collecting merchandise of her, plus going all the way to kickstart a future tradition of pairing anime characters with supporting cars. I am expecting to do more with this idea unless touch wood, I am unable to.
Hell, I did re-enter cosplaying and ended up cosplaying her, too. And if nothing goes wrong, I will be again tomorrow. For better or worse, she has shaped some of my confidence and definitely the opposite in some aspects, none that I can think of right now.
In any case, happy birthday Hasumi. We'll see when I do drop this semi-blatant fixation and move on. But I would laugh and reckon that it won't be so soon.
Also given the occasion I ought to give this can imported from Japan a try. Its one of those collaborations with this drink company and whichever IP wants to collaborate with them.
It tastes like Fanta. I don't know which flavor of Fanta. This was about SGD50 total including shipping and the most expensive can of drink I've ever spent. For a "once in your life" thing, I think its fine.
Anyways, whatever in the gallery is just the same game screenshots, so I can look back on how much I progressed and what not; basically just celebrating the occasion.
