About this website

This blog is dedicated to our sharings about general car enthusiast life in Singapore and others, a bit of a personal memorial of our youth and what we've done, seen, experienced, enjoyed. Sadly due to how things are run here, not all cars can live a full life as they would be intended. As such, we will try to document whatever we can and archive photos of what will one day become forgottens of the past. Life is a finite experience.

Pictorial: CnK & May Day Classic Cars Meet 2025

 Good day,

As delivered, this is a pictorial of the Cars 'N' Kopi meet held on Labour Day 2025, in conjunction with the May Day Classic Cars Meet. Likely the busiest Dempsey car meet of recent years, with double-parking and lack of parking spots by the official start of the meet (8 am).

It was incredibly hard to capture all cars involved so I've probably only managed 70% of all that formally attended, say less of any parking formations that had happened. Still, I hope the photos are nice and if your car is included, say hi!

Motorist: The most driving fun you could have for $60k in Singapore

Hello all,

Something up my alley for me to write, I suppose the adjustment to doomscrolling maybe 7-8 websites and apps total has become good practice for me to adjust to write about things like these. There's some decently nice cars in the list, and I urge you to have a read. Thank you.

Motorist: Singapore's largest public DC charging location is in Pasir Ris Mall

Good day to all,

Covering EV cars mean something like this will be covered, in this case would be a pretty spacious EV charging facility in Pasir Ris Mall. You can read the article here, thanks

Elanmi: Crossing 128000 kilometers (To the pearly gates of heaven)

Morning. Last night, Elanmi managed to cross 128000 kilometers in mileage. Over 33 years, this number still is pretty low compared to other cars of the era.

Elanmi: Collection after breakdown

Good day.

A few weeks ago after my first taste on the '99 Bends' road, idle on the Elan began to be very rough and inconsistent, plus started to sound like a motorcycle. I assume it may have been running on at least one cylinder less, or misfiring.

Parked it up at a gas station to fuel up, couldn't turn over. It barely could, but even with the throttle pressed down, it couldn't turn over to start. And alas, the second breakdown within my ownership.
